Song of Praise

God is so near. He’s so personal, so loving. So inexhaustible. He never tires of you and me. He never impatiently tells us to wait in line for Him. He is accessible always. He is longsuffering. He is gentle with us. His goodness never fails. His greatness never dims. His love never wavers. His wisdom never reaches an end.

He is faithful. He put you and me in the place we are in. It’s not a mistake. He intended it to help us turn to Him and lean on Him. If it seems impossible, that’s it, you’re getting it. If it seems too long, keep waiting. If it seems unusual, turn your face to Him and seek His answers. If it seems just right, praise Him for it!

His faithfulness reaches to the clouds. In other words, it goes on and on and on and on. It’s a bottomless pit of faithfulness. He doesn’t turn His back on you. He doesn’t hang up the phone when He’s sick and tired of your same old story. He doesn’t ask you to come back because it’s His day off. He is with you always.

He is with you when the way is hard. He is with you when the road is bumpy. He is with you though the enemy attacks, or friends revile. He is with you when the crowds cheer you, and is still with you when they leave you. God is with you now. He sees your pain. He understands your need. He etches His likeness in you, and shapes your character perfectly.

He is not surprised by your failure. He is not impressed by your successes. He loves you. No matter what. He loves you. No matter what. He never leaves you. He never abandons you. He is with you always. He knows your need. He will provide for you. He sees your loneliness. He longs to sit with you. He gently puts pressure on your wound until the bleeding stops. He compassionately wraps your hurt with his tender loving hand. He loves you deeply.

He loves you steadfastly. He loves you permanently. He loves you unconditionally. He loves you eternally. He loves you illogically. He loves you intensely. He loves you seriously. He loves you enough to die for you. He loves you enough to live in you. He loves you enough to stay with you. He loves you through the good days and the bad ones.

God is so near.

Just listen to Him.

Just look to Him.

Just sit with Him.

Just stare at Him.

In adoration. In worship. In overwhelming humility. In gratitude of heart. In fullness of soul. In thanksgiving. In praise. In song. In word. In action. In attitude. In faith. In wonder. In awe.

This is my song of Praise to Jesus Christ, my Savior. He reigns forever.

He is God.
