Suppose

There’s no room in the Christian’s vocabulary for “Suppose”.

Suppose I lose my job and have no way to provide for my family.

Suppose I get sick and can’t go to work.

Suppose my loved one dies.

Suppose I become paralyzed in a freak accident.

Suppose I find out my husband cheated on me.

Suppose someone hurts my children.

Suppose my children grow up not loving the Lord.

Suppose, suppose, suppose.

When God says: “The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want.” Psalms 23:1

And “Be content with what you have, for he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. so we can confidently say The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6

What are you supposing today that is causing you great fear?

Turn it over to the Lord and rest in Him.

“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalms 46:10

Come what may, the Lord is near. There is no error with him, there are no accidents, no oops – how did that happen?

His ways are always right, always planned and purposeful towards his children.

And did you know that Praise is God’s love language?

Use it today instead of supposing.
