Here are some things I forgot about living in the city:

The parking meter runs ou much faster than you ever anticipated.

The traffic is a lot worse than I remember it to be.

People are a lot more abrupt than they are in the suburbs.

You can be diving 75 mph and still feel like you’re going too slow.

You aren’t allowed to talk on the phone in the city.

The lights take forever to change on the corner of roosevelt and LSD.

There are a lot of angry people in Chicago.

The mayor spends a lot of money on flowers.

The view of Lake Michigan is always stunning. No matter how many times you see it.
