Pick Me

Two leaf blowers. Both are sitting on the same shelf. Both serve the same purpose.

The first is a battery operated portable one, while the other is a massive electric blower that has a cord so long I can clean the entire length of my gutters without ever changing the cord from its electric socket.

I love them both. I use them both. I am aware of them both sitting on my shelf.

But some days I only need the portable blower. While other days I cannot do without the electric power blower. Depends on the day. Depends on the circumstances.

Depends on the job I need to get done.

I’ve been thinking about how God uses his people. We’re all pretty much the same.  Sitting on the same shelf, waiting to be used by Him. We all serve the same purpose – to glorify Him.

But some jobs require the portable blowers, while other jobs require the electric ones.

Who He chooses is His call. Depends on the need. Depends on the day.

Waiting to be used.
