Vision

Do you need new vision?

I just got new contacts.

I didn’t think anything was wrong with my old vision, but after seeing the doctor and getting these new contacts, I feel like I’m seeing the whole world with new eyes. I find myself driving with renewed focus. I am amazed at the colors of spring, and at the blueness of Lake Michigan. Honestly, I’m amazed at how clear even the television looks!

The funny thing is that now when I take my contacts off and wear my glasses, I feel blind as a bat.

That’s the thing with clear vision. You don’t understand how poorly you were doing until your vision has been renewed.

It says in proverbs that “without vision the people perish”.

It’s true. If you can’t see, you may walk off a cliff.  Or drive into another car. Or something.

All it took was my losing my contact.  What at first looked like a very frustrating inconvenience has turned into the biggest blessing of the year!

It often takes a crisis to stop you in your tracks, and get you to refocus your vision for your life.

Have you lost vision for your life?

Is it time to stop at the doctor’s and to get a new prescription for better vision?

Don’t wait another day. Don’t gripe about the delay you are facing, or the detour you may have to take.

Just get yourself new vision.

Make your way to God’s waiting room, and don’t forget your Bible. He will give you a new prescription for your life!

Get clear vision. You need to see where you’re going!
