We are in Uganda January 3-12!
From January 3-12, 2025 Living With Power will be leading a mission trip to Wakiso, Uganda, in partnership with The Fortress ministries.
The Fortress runs several impactful programs:
- Rescuing and supporting victims of teenage pregnancy, abuse, and exploitation.
- GAREP (At-Risk Empowerment Project) provides counseling, mentorship, and life skills to girls in vulnerable situations like slums or the streets.
- Education and Skilling empowers girls and young mothers who have dropped out of school by providing education and training.
Our mission goals include:
- A vision trip exploring future potential ministry partnership
- Providing medical care for people in need
- Engaging the youth with a two-day sports camp
- One-day Bible conference
- Learning about the community and their needs
This experience will not only impact the young people at The Fortress but will also ignite a passion for Jesus and for serving those in need within our mission team.

The Fortress ministries needs a new van that costs $15,000. We received a grant match of $7,500 towards it, and we need to raise $7,500 more.
